Baleariqué is an atlas of rare dance music. We find records that the internet barely remembers and write their short biography: who, where, when — and why it still works.
It started as a Telegram channel, @rarebalearique — still running — and the site collects its material into an atlas: every track is pinned to a country, every country to its own little scene.
We host no music: listening happens through embedded YouTube, Bandcamp and SoundCloud players. Release data is checked against Discogs and primary sources — every card lists where its facts came from. Russian essays are being translated gradually; the facts are always bilingual.
